I also found "Mr Reliable" through Which? more than nine years ago, and he was seemingly able to turn his hand to anything I couldn't - or didn't want - to do myself in two successive homes. I recommended him to at least three neighbours who grabbed his services enthusiastically. But it wasn't just his expertise that people appreciated, it was his endless patience with impractical idiots like myself, and the feeling of having a cheerful, rather boisterous companion around the place.
