Jim 30th March 2019

From all the memories of Beer on Broadway over the years, it is Alex who is the most memorable part for me. He has always been somewhere , involved in the setting up and running of the event with his enthusiasm being infectious, catching the unawares into helping. His humour took a bit to get used to, but most got it in the end. As a sometime CAMRA member it is good to have people like Alex to rely upon, to bring new(er) members into the club. I suppose it must be put that the good die young, which then begs the question as to what is good and what is young. This should not upset anyone because Alex would laugh at the sentiment, You will be much missed. Jim Barrass.
