I first met Alex in 2006, drawn together by a love of Le Mans, in all we enjoyed 12 consecutive Le Mans together, and over the years I became very close to Alex. From an initial annual get together, we started meeting up regularly over a beer to chew the fat over shared passions for Le Mans, Porsche and decent beer. Apart from a slight difference over hop content, our views on all things invariably coincided. He also had an almost endless repertoire of jokes and funnies, Monty Python was also a shared love. My sincerest condolences to his family, he will leave a big hole in the lives of everyone who knew him. Alex was a close friend and confidant and I will miss him dearly, RIP buddy.
